Abstract submission

We invite delegates to submit an abstract (300 words: Introduction, Aims, Methodology, Results, Discussion/Conclusion) by Friday 13th April which will then be selected either for a 10-minute oral or poster presentation. You will be informed regarding acceptance by Friday 20th April


If I submit an abstract do I have to attend the conference?

All accepted abstracts are included in the programme either as an oral presentation or a poster session. We expect that at least one author of the abstract will register and attend the meeting to present the work and answer questions.


How do I pay the registration fees?

Please send us a completed registration form by post or email. We will in return send you an invoice. Please pay by bank transfer quoting your name and EuHIC 2 (preferred). You can also register online using Eventbrite and pay using a credit card.

What does my registration fee include?

Your fee includes full conference access, abstract book, post conference networking events and a conference report to be published after the event. Catering is provided throughout the day.


How can I find out information about hotels and their rates?

Who are the European Health Innovation Collaborative?

This is a loose group of healthcare professionals, scientists, medical writers, educators and patient representatives with an interest in improving medical care, communication and education. The organization is supported on a not-for-profit basis by Stgilesmedical in the hope of contributing to patient care through better science communication.


Who are Stgilesmedical?

We are a small medical communication and education company based in Berlin and London. We write manuscripts, regulatory and device documents, undertake translation and organize education activities in German and English. Among our team of native speakers are scientists, medics, educators and patient representatives. Our aim is the cost-effective advancement of medicine. Clients include pharma and device companies, doctors, patients and regulatory bodies.

Is the conference accredited?

EuHIC 2018 is ‘Patients Included’ accredited. We are exploring whether this unique event would also be eligible for CPD points for HCPs.


Attendance certificates

All registered participants will receive an attendance certificate at the end of the conference.
